And what better time ! With Google as the dominant force, Microsoft have been forced to act with a $44bn (say it in dollars, it sounds more impressive) bid for Yahoo! Are they overpaying for what could be the next AOL ? They clearly have their sights on the banner ad business contained within, to enable them to leapfrog into revenue generating competition with the king of the hill.
